Prepare Illumina-style libraries
Use libraries with P5/P7 adapters, i5/i7 indexes, and sequencing primer sites compatible with Illumina machines.
instructions
Prepare Illumina-style libraries, upload one sample sheet, ship samples in an Om mailer, and get private paired-read batches back without cloud infrastructure, service accounts, JSON keys, or huge file transfer setup.
before submitting
Use your own sample IDs and dual-index sequences. Sequence keeps those mappings attached to the shipment and the data you get back.
Use libraries with P5/P7 adapters, i5/i7 indexes, and sequencing primer sites compatible with Illumina machines.
Use the names you want back in your results. These IDs travel from the CSV to the ready data.
Add subscription or top-up credits first. The dashboard shows the maximum reads you can submit from your available balance.
submit samples
You do not need to type every barcode into a long form. Import the sheet, review the generated tracking IDs, then include the printed insert in the mailer.
Create accountFill in customer_sample_id, i5_sequence, i7_sequence, and requested_reads for every sample.
Upload one CSV in the dashboard. Sequence validates the sheet and generates Om sample IDs for the shipment.
Place the printed submission code and sample map inside the return mailer so Om can match receipt to your account.
mail samples
Request a Sequence mailer, seal the labeled samples, include the printed submission insert, then print and apply the prepaid return label before sending it back to Om.
Add a default shipping address and confirm the starter Om mailer. Every accepted submission requests one replacement mailer automatically.
Label tubes or plate positions with your customer sample IDs and seal them with parafilm. No ice or dry ice is required.
Put the sealed samples and printed insert into the Om mailer, then print and apply the prepaid return label before sending it back to Om.
ready data
Sequence returns private paired-read batches so you can work without cloud-storage setup or massive raw-file transfers.
The dashboard shows submission state as samples move from received to processing to ready data.
Ready data stays private to your account. Generate a private data link when you want to open or download the file.
Use a Sequence access key to list ready data and pull paired-read batches into your own pipeline without cloud keys.
