how it works
Your genome, made legible to your AI.
Raw sequencing files are hostile to an AI — gigabytes of binary and millions of rows. Om Sequence is the layer that turns your DNA into clean, cited, token-efficient data your agent can actually reason over.
what it feels like
A session with your own genome.
You connect your agent to the Om MCP and sign in with your Om account — there is no key to copy. Your agent then reads the genome your account owns, and every answer traces back to the underlying data.
You: Connect to my genome and tell me what you see.
Claude: Listed your readsets — RDS-8F3KQ2 is ready (paired Parquet,
published Aug 12). Pulled a private link, downloaded it, and
loaded 41.2M read pairs. Mean quality is high; estimated
coverage ~1.9x. Compare against your previous batch?
You: Yes — and check my chromosome 2 reads around LCT while
you're at it.
Claude: Coverage improved from ~1.1x to ~1.9x since your July batch.
Around the LCT/MCM6 region I found 312 read pairs — enough to
see the region, not enough to call rs4988235 confidently — that
should firm up as later batches add reads. You're at 78.4M reads
total across 2 completed batches so far.the flow
Four steps. One physical thing to do.
You supply the intelligence — the Claude or Codex subscription you already pay for. We are the database and the tool layer; your agent does the reasoning over your private genome, with every answer traceable to the underlying data.
- 01
Order your kit
Subscribe and we ship a simple saliva collection kit to your door. No lab account, no cloud setup, no service keys.
- 02
Send your sample
Provide a saliva sample and mail it back with the prepaid label. That is the only physical step you do.
- 03
We sequence and clean it
We run whole-genome sequencing, then imputation and quality control, and turn the raw reads into agent-ready data views. Immutable batches from the same sample increase your reads and coverage over time.
- 04
Explore your genome
Your genome lands in your account as private readsets you can open, stream, or download. Connect Claude Code, Codex, or any MCP-capable client to the Om MCP and sign in with your Om account to explore it directly.
